Two things everyone wants to know straight away – pricing and response time. Unlike other auto-locksmiths, we’re very open about this as we believe transparency is key for developing a trustworthy relationship with a customer.
Pricing
Our pricing is what we believe is very competitive, fair and realistic. During daytime hours (06:00-21:00) the prices range between £120-£200. The reason for this range is dependant on both how far we have to travel and what car we are getting into. Some vehicles have higher security so therefore requires higher levels of expertise to gain entry to.
During anti-social hours (21:01-05:59), pricing increases. The pricing starts at £200 ranging up to £250. Again, the range is to compensate for long distance travel and higher security vehicle entry.
It is also worth noting that we don’t have a call out charge. This means that you are only charged for the work.
Response Time
Covering a 15 mile radius from dispatch location is done purposefully – it allows for reasonable response times whilst also allowing for the price to be realistic for the customer.
Of course response times will vary throughout the day. It is impossible to promise a 30 minute response time during rush hour, while it is still usually possible. However, during times of lighter traffic, you can expect that sort of response time a lot more often. As a general rule of thumb, during times of light traffic, we tell customers to expect a response time between 10-40 minutes. During times of heavy traffic, it can range up to 1 hour+.
